For several years, MK Electric & Design Inc has been the electrical contractor for CHEP, the company behind the blue pallets that move goods across the country. Every CHEP facility in the United States relies on us for its electrical, with sites in California, Texas, Illinois, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Virginia and more.

These are busy pallet inspection and repair plants, and they run on heavy equipment. A few things our crews have done at CHEP sites:

• Fed and wired control panels for new automated pallet lines

• Ran 480-volt power and overhead conduit to production equipment

• Installed heavy-duty disconnects and new feeders in large conduit

• Hooked up a new rotary screw air compressor

• Powered vacuum lift systems at pallet handling stations

• Handled repairs and testing to keep every line running
