MK Electric & Design Inc. completed the full electrical scope for the 2022 remodel of Fresno Mazda in Fresno, California. The work started with demolition and safe-off of the existing electrical system throughout every remodeled area — vehicle display, showroom, customer waiting, sales and manager offices, circulation, parts, cashier, service write-up, lockers and restrooms — clearing the way for an entirely new system. From there our crews installed new branch circuits and receptacles across the remodeled building, floor boxes in the showroom and customer lounge, separate circuits for printers and appliances, and low-voltage chases at every office. New lighting was installed to the Mazda DID standard in the showroom, jewel box, sales and business offices, training room, customer lounge, BDC, retail parts and service areas, along with emergency and exit lighting to code.
MK Electric & Design Inc. produced the electrical design for permit and build-out, including all Title 24 lighting calculations. Every remodeled office received Title 24 compliant receptacle control, and all new lighting controls were installed to Title 24 requirements. As a certified California Title 24 tester and installer — a combination most electrical contractors can't offer — we carried compliance from design through final inspection without handing it off to a third party.
We installed all new CAT6 cabling to offices, workspaces and printer locations — approximately 50 to 60 new jack locations — with all terminations and a new rack built out in the IT room.
